Privacy Policy
Tim Stair built the open source CardMaker application. This application is provided by Tim Stair at no cost and is intended for use as-is. This page is used to inform website visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use the application.
Information Gathered
Nothing. There is no personally identifiable, or anonymous, information gathered by the CardMaker application. No information is transmitted anywhere for my use. Local logging is available within the application and is intended for your own use.
Google Drive and Spreadsheet Usage
As a user it is important to understand what CardMaker will use if you choose to use the Google functionality:
Access: CardMaker will access your Google Spreadsheets to read the Sheet names and Sheet contents.
Access: CardMaker operates in a purely read-only manner with respect to your Google Drive and Spreadsheets.
Use: CardMaker will use the contents of the Sheets to render graphics on your screen and into exported graphic files when you perform the given operation in the application.
Store: CardMaker will cache the contents of your Sheets in memory for use by the application.
Share: CardMaker does not share your Google user data.
Google Data Transmission
If you choose to use Google Spreadsheets with the CardMaker application, permission must be given by you so the application may access your sheets. This process uses Google OAUTH2 (https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuth2). When permission is requested a secure token is transmitted via your web browser involving a web page I personally maintain. The token and any personally identifiable information is NOT collected by me or the CardMaker application. Any token use is limited to your running instance of CardMaker.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
